The Sputnik sensor connects to the calibration unit inserted into the Bio-Well lens, creating connected resonance circuits. The bias current in the electric chain of this circuit depends on the capacity of the space between the Sputnik antenna and electro-conductive subjects grounded to the environment. Both the geophysical parameters of the particular environment and man-made electromagnetic fields and constructions would influence this capacity. Emotions are connected with the activity of the parasympathetic part of the autonomic nervous system, which changes blood microcirculation, sweating, and other body functions, leading to changes in general body conductivity and conductivity of acupuncture points in particular. Therefore, the presence of emotional people in the vicinity of the instrument can modify the conductivity of space and, consequently, sensor signals. This may be related to the formation of low entropy zones in space or, as Prof. Tiller claims, “associated with the accumulation of negative magnetic charge that manifests in the environment.” Some quantum effects may also be involved.
